This vision will be the base for our work together and it will ensure that your values are always present in all the decisions you will be making as you refine your process and grow your business. You can look at this step as a tool that will help you along the way across all areas – not just the look & feel of your business! The goal of this step is to make sure that your branding and your strategy is well defined and aligned with what your business stands for.

Describe your target audience, who they are, where they live, what they value. Are they younger or older? Are they tech-savy? Do they lead busy lives or do they value a more relaxed lifestyle? Do they look for luxury and high-quality services and goods or do they prefer practical and affordable solutions in their daily lives?
WHAT IS THEIR STRUGGLE THAT MAKES THEM LOOK FOR YOUR BRAND'S HELP?

WHAT ARE SOME OTHER BRANDS THAT YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE LOVES?
These can be in any industry! And try to think about why your ideal customer is loyal to these other brands. What is it about them that connects with your audience? Is it shared values? A similar brand personality?

Next to each competitor, give their website and write out what you think are their strengths and weaknesses within your industry. Think about the product/service that they offer, how they present themselves, their branding, etc.

If any of your competitors are doing similar things ask yourself, "Is there a good reason why everyone is doing things this way? Or it is something that can be approached differently in order to break up the repetitiveness of the industry?"
